I wish I could have someone write up an "about" section for me, but then I couldn't find anyone to describe me better than myself. ssiigghh...
así es la vida ...
I am some 10 years away from having a mid-life crisis. Totally love
Threadless t-shirts, soccer / football and technology in
particular.
I was bit by the startup / entrepreneurship bug during graduate school, and have piously devoted myself to appease the "startup" goddess since then; In the process, I worked at an
"ahead-of-its-time" e-commerce startup in India, where I learned the initial lessons on entrepreneurship from a couple of very beautiful minds, and completed the course successfully after been part of an "ACQUISITION" in the indian startups eco-system. I always double check to point this feat on my resume since then.
Continuing my devotion, I added sports (my second love) to the startup idea, and eventually joined ESPN (
one of the most innovating companies around) where I am currently part of the team building products that lie at the intersection of sports & technology.
In between jobs, I dabble with random ideas, projects and things, including photography, music, ideating and sleeping. I successfully + unsuccessfully started a small and informal consulting biz in 2009 (more on that story later)
